Took dog for a walk this afternoon. It was too hot to walk the couple of miles that I really want to do, but both of us got sweaty and dehydrated and enjoyed ourselves. A wild creature crashed away in the undergrowth. And some of the leaves are starting to turn, but there are also some very cheery flowers that are the color of salmon eggs.

Have you tried selling your stuff on etsy.com? All of the stuff on there is handmade and I've been told that the fees are much less than on ebay. A friend of mine has made several hundred dollars in the past month by selling felt pincushions. :-)

They charge 3.5% when an item sells and charge .20 to list an item for 4 months.

Just a thought.

I didn't do much this weekend except sleep. But sleep is a good thing! I have 4 months of treatment to go and then I can work on getting my life back! Yay!

This "Puff pastry" that your recipe called for, did they give you the recipe for it or did you just use a "puff pastry" recipe? I ask because there is a type of pie crust that is meant for savory dishes the is considered "puff pastry" but not like croissant pastry... I can send it to you if you'd like it.

I think you should still go for the interview, you may be able to get them to reimburse you for mileage (or a reasonable percentage, or include a "travel stipend" in your pay) or something that would make it worth it.

My weekend was blah and filled with very little but sitting in the house and "healing" and peeing a lot... and Alicia decided to randomly not take advantage of labor day and brought Bella home Sunday afternoon instead of Monday night like our holiday schedule says... so I had a 4yr old underfoot a day earlier then planned, not that I mind really, I just don't get her.
