i'm glad that you are okay. 45th is not exactly the most ideal place to have a bike break down, at least traffic wise!

thanks. yeah, somehow it worked out--I think mostly because we were very visible with flashy lights and in the left turn-or-straight lane, and most of the vehicles were going left. and also I give myself lots of credit for not freaking out. :)

best news: the crank was saved! for $5!

Augh! Stupid coffee. Ruins everything. (You KNOW your bike wouldn't have fallen apart if you hadn't spilled coffee on your sammitch.)

Beeeeeeeelated congrats to your sis on the upcoming twins. So sorry this is so late. I've been eagerly following your progress with the knitted goodness and just wanted to let you know that. I'm lazy, and it's late, so congrats again.

Do you know I knocked over coffee, too? I just kept saying, "Shit" multiple times, as if that would magically clean it up. (Later, I spilled cauliflower soup in the fridge.)

I'm a pro. :)

Hi Max!

So glad you're OK. Congrats on not freaking out. I would have, I think that is a freaking out worthy thing, you are more composed than I.
