I've had a very minor earache for about 4 years that never gets bad enough for me to remember to get it checked. That should really stop at some point.

I've been to the doctor many times too, but I never remember to mention it because it is not acting up when I go.

my ears ache whenever there's cold wind; I've learned to cover them up even if it doesn't feel "that" cold. the pain can be intense! still, i've never mentioned it to the doctor.

That's pretty much exactly what I have too. It must be worse for you since you ride your bike a lot. I notice that's when it's really bad for me.

So either it is a fairly common thing, or we should both get to a doctor before we go deaf!

I haven't been riding in the cold largely because my lungs don't do well, actually... it's a double whammy! I joined a gym in my new neighborhood a little while ago though and indoor exercising is working well for me.

Well, now we've got to wonder what's wrong with us/the world that all ears don't hurt like hell after being in cold, windy conditions.
