I was pretty disappointed with having to settle on those duvet covers, but once I put the curtains up I don't think I could have been more pleased. It completely transformed the room for me.
Ha ha, the beds. I have a lot of mattresses for a person that only has one bedroom. Back when I had a two bedroom apartment I had a twin bed in each room. Then my parents bought me a full-size mattress as a gift one year. Since moving I set up the full-size bed for myself and one of the twins for company. The second mattress is actually tucked under that bed frame and the box springs live down in the basement. I figure I have them, I might as well make them available for when I have out of town guests. It beats sleeping on the couch.
haha, that makes sense. Maybe one day if you feel like a change, you can push them together and make a super-sized bed. When I was a kid, I used to dream about that.
Thanks! Now I just need to make some shams and get some art up on the walls. Oh, and get a new rug, because the one I have is old and doesn't match anyway. But that's more expensive so it won't happen right away.
i like it...it is giving me ideas for the spare room whenever it is that i get to start renovating the old ranch house. (i needed a paint/color scheme for that room to percolate in my head) I have ideas for artwork ...ie my own (assuming i actually like my photos for like 5 seconds instead of stomping off in a pissy artist rage)
but i digress....you are making me want kimichi....Man i need to go to that korean grill soon.
Everthing in this post is awesome! So much to comment on! I'm so happy you're cooking Korean but I'm sorry it didn't go exactly as you'd like. That stuff is hard! I REALLY like your bedroom too--so roomy and comfy looking!
As for Star Wars ::dons her geek glasses:: it really pisses me off seeing the new versions; more than it should. I was laughing today when I read about a few people that decided to "kick their Star Wars obbession" because they were too upset about how the franchise went down the tube. It made me laugh because it was so like Star Wars was akin to alcoholism! XD Oh....geeks. <3
