An unorthodoxed Christmas...

'T is the season to give gifts! Or so it seems. There are a ridiculous amount of birthdays in August in my family, so I've been busy making and buying things. Warning: this post is pic heavy. =P

Avast! Picktchers! Ye've been warned! )

Thank you! I think it was the most tedious of the bunch, haha. All I know is I'm not planning on making another for a veeery long time. =D

Grin. Yeah, that's usually the way of it with these things. I do my best to avoid the uber fiddle craft projects, though it doesn't always work out that way :-)

I definitely understand. I try to avoid the really repetitive projects, but sometimes they're just so darn pretty that you can't. Oh, well, haha.

These are so great!! I love them. :) If I may ask, what type of stitch did you use on the border of the scarf? It looks awesome *o*!

Thanks! I'm glad you like them!

The border of the scarf was more cabling--four cables of two (if that makes sense) that wove around each other. Here's a close-up of it.

I'm happy to have helped! Good luck if you decide to use the border. It's a real pain in the butt, haha. Let me know how it turns out if you do use it. =D
