Well, second week of classes down, still learning a lot but believe me, the brain is absolutely demolished after five hours of class. (especially in another language) I had a busy Saturday to look forward to as I was planning on going skiing (and by planning I mean definitely going because I paid for it)

Well, that's one week down. A lot of experiences. Today was my first Saturday in Pau. The buses run a bit slower today (fewer stops) but I used them nonetheless to get all the way out to Lescar (taking the urban path pass the Carrefour and a huge commercial sector) to get there. I'm cold... like so damn cold you wouldn't believe how cold I am. I thought the main reason I was cold yesterday was because I didn't wear my full winter jacket... I corrected that today... and I'm still cold. Firefox says its only 28 Fahrenheit, around -3 or so Celsius. You'd think after surviving tech this wouldn't be so bad, but the ( Read more... )

Okay, got a good night's sleep last night, I attribute it to not napping after the flight. Now today... that was again an experience... kinda trying actually in the morning. So today... and tomorrow were quite an experience. It all started the way I expect it to, with the usual flight out of Sawyer, I've done it 3 times now so its a minor hassle now. I know the drill. Okay, I'll admit it, I'm anxious. In less than 48 hours I'll be leaving for France. Need I say I have a big trip ahead of me. So about a week ago my computer died.... which of course resulted in much headache. I saved everything out of my documents, which means all my writing is safe, along with all my files. I lost my address books for my email though, along with my five emails in one setup for thunderbird, but it gave me an excuse to clean up my bookmarks for Firefox, ( Read more... )
