I lost my gun when I came through and I've noticed not having a weapon on hand isn't the greatest of ideas.

Can anyone point me in the direction of a gun? I'd take a knife if I have to, though I'd really prefer something that shoots.

[Jack's doing his best to keep his composure, but he's so upset that it's difficult to keep his voice from shaking slightly and his smile looks all too fake.]

I don't suppose anyone know where any alcohol is in this God-forsaken place? I could use a drink.

[The screen flickers to show the RAF captain lying unconscious on the ground, dressed in a torn and burned WWII pilot's jumpsuit. He stirs with a groan and a sharp wince of pain, completely unaware he's being recorded.]
