Having decided on a hairdresser - Hair by fairy - thanks to ladyjulian - I now have to make the decision I inevitably always come to when getting my haircut, depsite always searching for a place without this criteria in mind.

It's getting to the point when my hair needs cutting again. Does anyone have recomendations of places in London to get it done as cheaply as possible? In the past I've used Toni & Guy students (takes about 3 hours, but costs £5) but they'll only do my hair in the autumn when they've got new students because it's a beginner's cut.
