It was really grating!

Sorry about all the drama on petbulls. If you could contact the OP directly and encourage her to take lovelydenial up on her offer of help, I'd really appreciate it. Someone needs to help that girl and her dog before worse things happen.

It's not your fault, and it's no wonder everyone was up in arms about it. I had a few choice things to say to her as well, but it had already been said so I called the posting closed. ;) Do you know what she decided to do with the litter??

Oh what? Was he on crack??? Why the hell would you rake anyway, since you are on the upstairs floor? Weirdo...:)

He might be on crack. He's constantly baffling. :)

We all rake (there's only 3 units in our condo assoc and we share the load with raking, yardwork, and shoveling).

OH, ok...that makes more sense than if you live in an apartment and you are on the top floor and you decide to rake. So weird...

I didn't rake it, but I did take the riding mower over it because I blew all the leaves in the road and didn't want to rake them out of the road. I ended up leaving most of them to the dismay of my anal retintive neighbors who hate me anyway because of my doggies.

Does it matter if the leaves in the road isn't the fault of your trees?

I know it sounds stupid. I have a lot of trees in my yard near the road. Last year we lost one that fell across the road, blocked traffic and took down electrical and phone lines. I'm a recovering people pleaser and relapsed. We will be relocating hopefully to a county area outside of a frigging neighborhood in about six months. Then I can go fuck it.

BTW, I like your shout it out and your "Say What" icon...priceless. :D

We have 4 trees and I don't have any problem dealing with them. The people across the street have a big yard and many trees and landscapers that just use a leaf blower to blow the majority of the leaves out into and across the street. On the other side, there's a park with lots of trees and those leaves fall onto our property - what can ya do?

My dad used to do that if he was already raking the lawn and got to the edge of the street or driveway and saw that there was a big leaf pile clogging up the driveway or part of the street. Horrible sound, but it made sense to me.

There wasn't. There was a pretty decent sized puddle with a bunch of really wet leaves in it though. I wouldn't have touched it.

Yeah, sorry, I guess I should have announced it in a whole seperate journal entry instead of the poll one. :p
