Oh my lord. My finger was feeling better last night so I thought "Hmm, I'm gonna take this splint off. It's annoying as shit." Bad idea. Bad, bad idea. Yeah, so that whole sleep thing didn't happen. But! Some good came out of it. I rescued the transcription I did of the BGM in Saiyuki Reload episode 4 from my crashed hard drive and moved it to my shiny new one. Then I polished it up and made a MIDI. So here you go.

Just finished transcribing Wakare from the Saiyuki Reload Burial OST. I was gonna make a MIDI but I'm totally wiped out today. Cranky kids and (literally) one hour of sleep last night. So here it is, sans MIDI. If I'm lucky, I might get it done tomorrow. =)

Despite the broken finger I'm about 3/4 of the way done transcribing Wakare from the Saiyuki Burial OST. Woot!

Also, Jonsthsn just got home and he brought me a pair of totally awesome lime green sewing gloves. Now to go try them out!

The first time in my entire life I break a bone it's in my finger. So wouldn't it figure that now I have the irresistible urge to play on my keyboard? I've got two songs I'm hoping to get transcribed in the next week, and a ton of new music I'm dying to try out. If you don't hear from me for awhile, it'll probably be because I can no longer type.

I made a splint for my finger today out of an old shift key and pantyhose. I feel like MacGyver. Plus I was able to use some of the junk cluttering up our shelves, so it's like killing two birds with one bone. XD ( Read more... )
