(no subject)
Oh my lord. My finger was feeling better last night so I thought "Hmm, I'm gonna take this splint off. It's annoying as shit." Bad idea. Bad, bad idea. Come to find out you're supposed to splint it for 5 weeks (5 weeks?! Seriously?!) and it takes a grand total of 2-3 months to heal completely. God dammit.
Anyway, even being about 3 weeks behind on my work people are still placing custom orders. It looks like I might not have any new hats in the shop before Halloween, and I for sure won't have any wings done. (I'm not even attempting wire work until this stupid finger heals.) But I did get some furry wrist warmers made up, so that's good. =)
So there's this chick that walks around the neighborhood all the time. It's probably important to know that she's pretty damn nuts. As in, off her meds nuts. Today while in the bathroom I could hear her arguing with a barking dog down the block. I was laughing to hard to make it all out, but I did catch her shouting "What, puppy?! Mah momma live down the street! I DON'T GIVE A FUCK!": This lasted a good three minutes. To her credit, it's got to be difficult to carry on an argument with a dog for that long. XD
It's getting chilly out. I think it's (finally!) almost that time of the year that I can start wearing my hats out. ♥
