So, last night I had this overwhelming desire to watch Giles' entrance at the end of "Buffy" Season 6 (brought on, I'm sure, by the fun of this post). You know, it's really hard to cue that up properly, since it's at the very, very end of the show. Not that I didn't cue it up several times. I really loved that moment, and it truly surprised me

Again, yay for assimilation! I really enjoyed reading your post since I just finished watching season 7 at work. Yes, yes, at work! For a few years now we've been watching movies and tv series at lunch with the kids and we went through (for the second time) all 7 seasons of good old Buffy since September *g* Guess what we're starting tomorrow? Angel! Well, we'll see if they like it, if not we might try Firefly.

But speaking of assimilation, unless I missed the part where you mentioned you were already hooked, you need to join the Battlestar Galactica-verse now, right? Ask Anya, she'll second that! ;)

Oh! And you need the comics too! Buffy season 8 and Angel:After the Fall!

I couldn't find a post about you toying with watching BSG, but I distinctly recall telling you you needed to watch it, 'cause it's awesome. I still need to get the DVDs of Season 2, but I have, um, other ways to watch it. I just haven't found any icons I want to use for BSG. (Nor have I updated my LJ interests. Lame.)

Yeah, I'll be getting the trades of the comics. I can always borrow my brother's copies of Buffy. (Actually, I just read the first volume of Season 8 the other day. As much as I love Willow, Giles >>>>>>> Willow. Just sayin'.) Angel I might have to do on my own, 'til he can catch up, at least.

See I didn't remember that >.< I remember you telling me to watch B5 though ;) I have yet to do so, but will eventually. But yes, totally addicted to BSG now. I bought the first two season and Razor but I had to watch season 3 by "the other ways" cause even if I had cable I would need a satellite dish or something to have the channel it's on so...

Love the comics! They're supposed to have a new serie of Doctor Who comics too but so far #1 is strangely mia while they have release dates for #2 and #3. Odd. Or Ood, if you are a Doctor Who fan. Are you? You should *g*

See, I tell everyone to watch B5, 'cause it's just that awesome. *g*

I've not seen any Doctor Who, but I know that people with good TV tastes like it. So, who knows, maybe one day I'll get around to it. But, I've got "Bones" and "Jeeves and Wooster" to watch, and I want to rewatch, um, BSG (this'll happen slowly, 'cause my brother and I are trying to get the rest of the family watching; they've liked what they've seen, though), B5, Gilmore Girls, Sports Night, The West Wing, Studio 60, Lost, and Nero Wolfe.

Oh, and I have Season 2 of Pete and Pete to watch through, too. And my brother still hasn't seen Season 3 of Veronica Mars, and that'd be fun, to watch the show with him. Plus he's only seen not even the whole first season of Angel, and I should totally watch that with him, too. So... I've got a full TV on DVD plate! Oh, my! *giggles*

And that's not even taking into account movies!

Seriously, this silly "job" thing is really cutting into my sittin' around watchin' DVDs time.

There are also three comics spanning the time between "Firefly" and "Serenity" (movie) and three more that are coming out starting this month, I believe.

And, yes, yes! BSG NOW! *grin* Glad you've gotten into "Bones," as well. That has become one of our favourite shows. *nods*

Are you talking about "Those Left Behind"? I read it a while ago (my brother, the big comic fan, let me borrow his copy), just need to get a copy of my own. And, I'm sure he'll be getting the new one, too (which I'll happily borrow).

Oh, totally into BSG. Watched it this time last year, actually. As for "Bones," I've liked the first four episodes. This whole getting up before 7 thing, though, is messing with my normal 'watch TV-on-DVD until at least 3' routine out of whack, so I've not gotten any further. But I will. Oh, yes, I will. :D
