Prologue Chapter One Chapter Two Chapter Three Chapter Four Chapter Five Chapter Six Chapter Seven Chapter Eight “Get off me,” Jared complained after a moment but laughed when Jensen just grabbed his hips and buried his face further into his chest. He mumbled sleepily, something that sounded a lot like, “Stop moving around, y’ damn stupid pillow.”
Jared kicked him off. Jensen sliding out of him and he groaned at the loss. He immediately tried to roll over and go back to sleep but Jared wouldn’t let him. He stoked a grumpy Jensen’s forehead and patted his cheek to keep him awake.
“Come on. We have to get you cleaned up. We can’t go to sleep like this.”
Jensen focused slightly on his words and smiled that heart wrenching cocky smile that looked way too sweetly school boyish now sleep was washing his face, making it innocent. A really lethal combination to Jared’s well being.
“Well that’s not going to happen.” Jensen said smugly in a singsong "I know something you don’t know" voice. He was really doped up on sleep and Jared laughed flashing his dimples.
“Why not?” Jared asked, going along with it.
“Because I still don’t have any water, stupid. I’m using Peter’s remember.” Jensen said yawning and closing his eyes again. Jared got up to see if he was telling the truth. …not that he didn’t believe him; but yeah. Jensen right then looked like he would do anything to get Jared to leave him alone.
Huffing when he discovered he was actually telling the truth and there really was no water in the house he woke Jensen up again. He rubbed most the muck off them with towels and got them both dressed.
“Dude!” Jensen grumbled, not liking being manhandled and that got him riled up enough into waking to do most of it himself. He followed Jared to the car and didn’t even say anything when he got pushed into the passenger side.
“Where we going?” he asked eventually.
“To get a nice warm shower.” He replied, now completely stubborn on the idea. He’d taken showers for granted up until now and it pissed him off when he couldn’t get what he wanted.
He looked across at Jensen who was still blinking dazedly and grinned as he realised he had just gotten it. Everything he had ever wanted was all his and had dark blonde hair and clear green eyes.
“Wake me when we get there.” Jensen mumbled and turned to surprisingly lie in Jared’s lap. He’d seriously never met anyone who could be as cocky or as self-conscious as Jensen could be all the time and it bewildered Jared how Jensen could always contradict himself in new and interesting ways.
He knew that when he could understand Jensen, he had probably figured out the code for the building blocks of the universe.
“Aww…!” He teased as Jensen snuffled in his lap and he petted the blonde man’s hair. He got a growl in response and he laughed, turning back to the road before he swerved into something and crashed.
He could still smell the stench of stale sex in the air and it was driving him mad. Unless he wanted to stay semi-hard for the rest of the night remembering Jensen’s face as he came inside him he needed to get clean.
Peter’s shower, here they came.

“What are you doing?” Nathan asked weakly and at a loss of breath. Peter was nibbling his way down his neck. Little licks, feeling way too good… One spot that was particularly sensitive, his hips jerked reflectively and he bit back a groan.
Using the distraction Peter flipped himself from his place at Nathan’s side and lowered himself into Nathan’s lap so he was at a better leverage.
“What ever I’m doing… I bet it’s your fault.” Peter whispered huskily kissing him way to chastely on the mouth then moving tauntingly out of reach when Nathan tried to follow.
Nathan smirked dangerously smile deciding to play along. “My fault?” He asked in an innocent tone. Peter doubted Nathan had ever been innocent in his entire life. Hands grabbed his ass and slid him forward.
“Yeah, your fault.” Peter choked breathlessly next to Nathan’s ear. His teeth flashed sinking into the lobe, he licked the curved back soothingly, ending with a kiss. “Your fault for being sexy.” Nathan made a noise low in his throat but when he pulled back there was nothing but the thrill of the challenge in his eyes.
He wondered what it would take to make this man fall apart at the seams but he realised that it didn't matter what it was, he'd do it just as gladly. He was staring, he realised. Nathan watched him back, waiting for his next move.
Having had enough with playing he placed his hand on Nathan’s cheek guiding the older man into a kiss grinding their mouths together in an attempt to take all traces of bitter black coffee from Nathan's mouth. Nathan kissed back just as hard, shivering as he explored every last nook available to him.
It was hot and messy. He could feel Nathan’s growing erection pressing into his thigh and he thrust into it, eliciting a strangled moan. Peter swallowed it down savouring it.
Needing to breathe, he pulled away in desperation. Gasping for much needed air that was all he got before Nathan pulled him back under mouthing at his neck refusing to let him escape so easily. He shivered.
He found the older man staring in awe, following his neckline up over the jaw and mouth to his eyes, then he seemed to focus and they were both lost. Eyes locked and breathing fast.
Nathan smiled, the first true smile Peter had seen from him. It reached his eyes making them shimmer and his heart leapt out of his chest. He was so gorgeous; Peter swallowed hard and attempted a smile in return.
An idea came into his head, which was so completely ridiculous so he discarded it. Only it kept nagging insistent and eventually he surrendered and looked at it. He was in love with Nathan.
The realisation shocked him to his core.
“What’s this?” Nathan who had been unbuttoning his shirt broke his concentration. His hand had caught on his necklace and he slid it from under his shirt. Peter didn’t answer straight away, just watched as Nathan undid the latch and slipped it off his neck. He waited for some remark that jewellery was girly but he didn’t care. He loved that necklace and his realisation that he loved Nathan as well still had him reeling.
Nathan studied it for a moment then he stilled. He wasn’t even breathing.
“I don’t know. I’ve always had it. Ever since before I could remember.” Peter smiled as he thought about everything he had believed as a child. “I always felt like someone special had given it me and every time I tried to throw it away I just couldn’t."
The necklace was a smooth white stone in a gold plated disk. It looked like the moon with the sun peaking through all sides, like an eclipse. On the back there were three letters engraved. N & P.
“Nathan and Peter.” Nathan whispered barely audible. He gently placed Peter to the side of him and got up, to go to the window.
“What? Hey!” Peter shouted completely lost. He followed behind him, watching his reflection in the window. There was a serious stillness in the air that he didn’t like. It was the calm before a storm and he was furious at the sudden change. “Nathan. Tell me what’s wrong.”
“This stone belonged to my little brother. I gave it to him on his 4th birthday and he never took it off." There was a finality in his tone that said he was sure. "How… how did you get this, Peter? Tell me the truth.”
“I told you already, I always had it.” Peter snapped back not liking being called a liar or whatever else Nathan was suggesting he could have done to get hold of his brother's stupid necklace. “Have you ever considered that more than one of those necklaces were made and it’s just a coincidence both of us have one?”
“Your name is Peter also…” Nathan said almost to himself, Peter didn’t like being ignored and he was so close to swinging at him.
“It has our initials on the back. It couldn’t be a replica.” Nathan said finally turned around but desperately avoiding his eyes. He'd reached some decision he could tell and he wouldn't like whatever it was.
Peter could see it from there, the necklace dangling and spinning. The three characters he knew better than the back of his hand. N & P. Nathan and Peter, Nathan had said. It fitted.
He tried to grasp what Nathan was trying to say to him. His necklace belonged to Nathan’s brother; he had the same name as Nathan’s brother and he remembered lastly what Nathan had told him at the park.
The body was never found.
“No!” Peter whispered pleadingly, angrily and confused.
