Fuzzy pre-ordered my copy from Amazon back in April for my b-day. I was worried that it would arrive while I was at the Section 88 picnic today. First of all, since I haven't posted in a while, just wanted to say that Fuzzy and I managed to get through the wedding and reception without any major catastrophes. Honeymooning in Walt Disney World was great, but I think that them offering only 4 day packages is wrong... there's so much more we wanted to see. I sent out the wedding invitations on March 1... since then, 7 out of 67 response cards have already been returned. This weekend was the bridal shower hosted by my future mother-in-law. While I was out there, I got to see my aunt for the first time since the cancer diagnosis. She told me that the hospice people told her that the doctors routinely ( Read more... )

Did I mention that on top of this, Fuzzy's aunt, who has had a brain tumor for 2 years, has gotten to the point where treatments aren't doing her any good. As of about a week ago, she stopped her treatments and is taking medication to keep the pain at a minimum. They're not sure she'll even live to see her first grandchild born. I found out on Friday that my aunt (technically great-aunt) has lung cancer. They found it accidently, so it's gotten pretty far along. She had pneumonia for about 3 weeks and went to the hospital because of a lack of appetite. They took x-rays and said that her lungs were covered with spots.
