I am finishing up the 80s monster hunter novel for na/o and then moving on to the something new. It's not going as fast as I would like but it's going. I'm up to one of the biggest battles (but I do dislike writing battles...I'm not much on reading them either). I was hoping to do a cozy fantasy/mystery but it just wasn't gelling. I wish I were at work
So I had a distraction from this fear and depression but I don't. At least I managed to get the Halloween village down and I got some leaves waxed (I have an art project in mind for over a year. I managed to get through the day by going to work. I had to meet my advisee and get her registered for spring. I've never touched Anthology our new student management system before. In an attempt
to escape the election anxiety, I tried to clean and didn't get far. Tried to write and didn't get far. Gave up and went down to the school because I said I'd attend the wildlife seniors presentations. Can't shake the nerves
And I'm not alone. Even Sesame Street put out a meme on social media today saying it's okay to be anxious. Maybe so, Grover but it sure feels like hell. It's the 'there's nothing I can do' part of it that I can't get past. I'm sure that's true of a lot of Americans going into tomorrow. Let's talk about series and the formula. I think this might be a bit more noticeable in mystery series than other genres.
