The Ponds' checked shirt look is getting so old it makes me want to scream.

The plaid on plaid is horrifying. Every time Rory wears a plaid overshirt over more plaid or any other pattern, I die a little inside.

UGHHH it's so bad, so monotonous, so frustrating!
Sure there are more important things to worry about but it's so distracting to me! WHY!
They need to please stop.
And Rory should probably stop wearing those body warmer things too. I mean sure they are perhaps practical but they are really unattractive.
I'd take them over the double plaid though!

People didn't like Rory's behavior? But...it makes so much sense! Unlike his taste in clothes

HAHA exactly! Thank you so much for being another voice of reason!
Apparently?! My friend was disagreeing with me on the plaid and Rory and I was getting so enraged!
Rory's just being a good person and likes being properly appreciated for a change.
Amy rarely shows her feelings and though she's getting better this series she's still really strong and Rory's more sensitive.
I love them together and he does know she loves him - he clearly loves her - but Jennifer needs him and he's doing the right thing and helping her.

I'm loving the new series, but I think you're right, the wait will be tortuous! Only the pirate one left me a bit cold (was expecting to love that, I love pirates), but Saturday's was ace! As for Rory... yeah, I've read the hate too, and don't get it. But then since the back-end of series 5 I've developed a bit of a man-crush on him. I want him to be my best friend and go for a pint down the pub together! xxxx

I didn't love Fear Her, but I never understood the hate for it. It's one of those ones I think are good, solid, standard episodes. You can't have the amazing one every week! I thought the Olympic torch ending was rubbish and too cheesey even for me, but I loved stuff like the scribble monster and the idea of trapping people in drawings was well creepy. I also loved the idea that the creature causing the problem wasn't the cliched alien invader dude, but a scared little child looking for a friend, and just trying to hold onto that friendship. And plus as well, loved the Doctor about to eat the jam with his finger! Proper Doctor moment.

I can't understand the hate, but I think it might be because it's mostly shot in the daytime, and involves a child. People are funny about that sort of thing. More people will like his new one just because the lights are off more. Silly, really. Fair enough people don't like Fear Her, but no-one can judge this guy's writing if he gave us Life on Mars, as far as I'm concerned <3 ( ... )
