The Ponds' checked shirt look is getting so old it makes me want to scream.

Oh Lord! It is all shaping so beautifully!
I'm not a big R&J fan (unless you count the all-male version I saw in which there was a subplot involving the boy playing Juliet fancying the Romeo boy or something..... but that's another story for another time...)
OK OK and it starts off with Emma mocking Darren's guitar or something.. I don't know!

Ros tells Emma in a pre-gig girlie chat that clearly covering Disney songs is so bad it's good; it's fresh! it's new! she just didn't get it straight away
When she later meets Darren she continues with the contemptuous facade

But it slowly crumbles as she realises how devastatingly good-looking he is in person, how much... shinier those glasses are in person? I don't know. It's 4am.

I think this may have been clear even if we were discussing this in the middle of the day..

I think we had the film execs at your initial proposal if I'm honest.
