When Piper reappeared, she was still on the floor. The server she had just bumped into was about to drop a bunch of glass wear she'd been carrying. Once Lindsey had popped back into being and had a few moments (while running) to process what that meant, he stopped and pulled out his phone.

It had to work now, didn't it?
She had to be at the other end and she had to pick up and she had to be okay. There wasn't another option.

Piper glanced at the caller I.D. on her phone before answering, relieved and happy at seeing the name that was there.

"Lindsey?" she asked, hopeful. "Are you really there?"

She had to make sure she wasn't just imagining this.

"I've been here," Lindsey said, trying to ignore the catch in his voice. Well, aside from yesterday and today when he'd been Nothinged he'd been here. "Oh god. I...don't ever do that again."

Piper was so relieved to hear his voice. Technically, for her, it hadn't been that long since she had. But she knew this was a very different situation. "I won't. I promise."

Unlike certain would be evil lawyers, Wyatt didn't have to call. He'd been doing the quick rounds to make sure everyone was okay, visiting Chris and Summer, then Grandpa Victor, then Isabel's family. Next stop, the Hyperion.

"Piper?" he called.

Piper was sitting on one of the lobby couches with Kit when she heard someone call her name.

"Wyatt." She immediately rushed over to hug him. She didn't care about technicalities right now. He was her son. Hugs were necessary right now.

"I knew you were all right but I had to see for myself," Wyatt said with a sigh of relief, hugging her back. "Chris and Summer are OK. Phoebe and Cole and Anders are all in Fandom. Lindsey's there too, I think."

Cole had known that talking on the phone wasn't what Phoebe needed right now. She needed to see with her own eyes that Piper was alive and well. So, while Anders was getting stuff packed up back at the cabins, Cole made a preemptive shimmer to the Hyperion. He had barely gotten them there when Phoebe was launching herself towards her sister.

He smiled, told them both he'd be back in a little while, and shimmered back to Fandom.

Phoebe got to Piper and just threw her arms around her, tears already pooling in her eyes.

Piper just clung to Phoebe, knowing it was what they both needed right now.

She didn't know what she would have done if their roles had been reversed...

"I lost you," Phoebe finally managed to say. "I lost you and we couldn't find you and and then ... and then ..."

Sorry Piper, Phoebe was just a bit of a wreck after the events of the last three weeks and then the last 48 hours.
