Unlike certain would be evil lawyers, Wyatt didn't have to call. He'd been doing the quick rounds to make sure everyone was okay, visiting Chris and Summer, then Grandpa Victor, then Isabel's family. Next stop, the Hyperion.

"Piper?" he called.

Piper was sitting on one of the lobby couches with Kit when she heard someone call her name.

"Wyatt." She immediately rushed over to hug him. She didn't care about technicalities right now. He was her son. Hugs were necessary right now.

"I knew you were all right but I had to see for myself," Wyatt said with a sigh of relief, hugging her back. "Chris and Summer are OK. Phoebe and Cole and Anders are all in Fandom. Lindsey's there too, I think."

"I'm so glad to hear that. So glad this is all over," Piper said quietly. "And I'm so glad you're okay, too."

"I got zapped for awhile, but Isabel was OK the whole time," Wyatt admitted, stepping back to let Piper breathe. "They figured it out and reversed everything. It should all be back to normal now."

"They always do figure these things out, huh?" Piper grinned. "Also, don't you disappear like that again, okay?"

That was a mother talking just then.

"I didn't plan on it," Wyatt protested. "They had a force field going around Fandom, but it wasn't going to hold, so I was hitting it with power to keep it going long enough for people to get to safety. Couldn't orb fast enough once it failed completely."

He scratched the back of his head. "And I asked Isabel to marry me."

Piper was in the middle of processing everything Wyatt had said about Fandom and the force field when he announced that last bit of news.

"You...what?!" she exclaimed excitedly. "That is great news! You and Isabel deserve to be happy like this."

She didn't think she needed to ask what Isabel's answer was.

"I was planning on trying to come up with something for Christmas, but it just seemed like the right time," Wyatt grinned. "We haven't set a date or anything" -- they'd hardly had time for it yet -- "but we'll let you know."

"You better," Piper said. "I know it's early now, but...if you need help with a cake..."

She grinned.
