This idea has been rolling in my head for a while, since I have been craving chili cheese dogs and I ran out of bread. It's a chili cheese dog Casserole and I made it last night - it was a big hit. Any suggestions for a substitute topping for a green bean casserole? I have no fried onions. Would the dish taste good with just Cream Mushroom Soup and Green Beans?

I made this the other night, using leftover vegetables. It is an old classic for me and rather simple to put together. You can use whatever vegetables and cheese you think will go together well.
