Finished the newest Harry Potter book in five days. It was an astonishingly quick read, although it didn't leave much room to actually make you enjoy reading the book. It did, however, confirm one of my suspicions. Dunno what to say about it really without getting into specifics. That can wait.

This is the last post you'll see for at least a week. Now that the new Harry Potter book is out, I'll be pretty much avoiding anything Net-related, tabloid related, or TV-related until I finish. Wonder if WoW will be safe enough to play? Hmm.

My computer now has a GeForce 7600 GS video card, and a brand new 20" Acer widescreen monitor. Playing WoW on it is really nice. The best thing is the only problemsI've encountered is getting disconnected from the server. And the occasional lag.

My computer is in the shop being fixed. It turns out the video card it was currently using was completely incompatible with World of Warcraft because of the ATI technology it used. So they put in a new G-force model, which uses absolutely no ATI technology, and aparently it works just fine. But as if that wasn't enough, my monitor decided to die. ( Read more... )
