I started the day with a 7:30 AM meeting with a student--which I never do, but it was that same physio kid who has the learning disability and the draft of her big-ass research proposal was due at nine, and when she's putting that much effort into her degree I kind of feel like I should help where I can

I got into work just in time to get linked to the Tumblr meltdown and aside the kind of quite scary ones, I nearly died laughing. Poor little teenyboppers.

I knoooowwww! I remember the almost physical jolt when reality intrudes on a beautiful fantasy. But I bet the actual teenyboppers will recover faster than some of the women my age. We can be quite scary on the Internet!

Also, frankly, if he's going to wander around being precious all over the place, it should come as no surprise that somebody did something about it...

I have to admit to being really quite jealous of his lady wife. I do not get men that cute trying to kiss me, let alone marry me!

But, it probably happens a lot more frequently to me than it does to you. After all, if someone just has a *girlfriend*, you can continue hoping, but that pretty much kills my mood entirely. ;-)

Yeah, it's weird how fantasy will only stretch so far. At this point the only solution is to make up a character based on him and do what I want with him. Hmm.

(Also, to be honest? Based on cultural stereotypes about what young straight guys are supposed to be like, I was a little surprised myself. Assumptions like that might explain why I'm still single.)
