This has all the makings of a long-ass day...
I started the day with a 7:30 AM meeting with a student--which I never do, but it was that same physio kid who has the learning disability and the draft of her big-ass research proposal was due at nine, and when she's putting that much effort into her degree I kind of feel like I should help where I can.
That should be the end of physio students for a few days.
Actually, my day started at about 1:00 am, when I woke up for no reason, unwisely checked Tumblr for updates from a Tom Hiddleston movie at TIFF, and walked right into a minor fannish meltdown. Did you know he's apparently married? I did not, and neither did Tumblr. There was a brief spasm of "shit, reality intrudes" on the site (possibly exacerbated by that awkward feeling of knowing you've been having highly inappropriate thoughts about someone else's husband... not that I would know about that *cough*EricBana*cough*.)
Anyway, it was entertaining, and the pictures that kept getting posted were cute as hell (she was wearing a little black dress that would not have looked out of place on Audrey Hepburn) and the next thing I knew it was quarter to three and I was wide awake.
Yeah, talk to me at five this afternoon.
And now I'm just waiting for reviews of the movie TH had at TIFF (The Deep Blue Sea) to start showing up online. I hope it's all as pretty as that video of him and Rachel Weisz dancing.
