*sighs* *glances around and then hugs him fiercely and bites his ear* Missed you, Reg, don't go and do something stupid like die so I won't have you around.
*steps away from him, making a show of brushing down the front of his robes* Anyway, you have no imagination just changing Black to Brown. There is a whole, vivid number of coulours to choose from - you could have been Mr R. Pink, or Mr R. Indigo, or something like that.
I don't know if you have any idea how wonderfully amazing you are. Oh, and I should be answering your email sometime soon, too about this stuff. It got lost in my inbox. :)
I just can't let Sirius respond to this. Regulus is the most tragic little thing and you two made meta!Sirius and me wibble (although he's less willing to admit that than I am). *squishes Reg because Sirius can't*
*blushes* You are far too lovely, you know. And I'm sorry for any wibbling. Will some snuggles make up for it? I wrote this as a bit of a silly one, but then realised that it actually wasn't that funny at all. Poor Reg. And he'd be so mortified if anyone ever found out. :(
There are ways of repairing magically damaged tapestries, but, first of all, it's important to know what caused the damage. And, suppose the tapestry had...unicorns on it. And then one of those unicorns was blasted out of the tapestry, by accident or any other reason. If the unicorn doesn't want to be restored to the tapestry, then, alas, you won't be able to repair it at all. The subject has to agree to it, I'm afraid.
If your tapestry only has inanimate subjects, then perhaps I can refer you to someone who will be able to help you.
Good luck, Mr...Brown. Interesting. My last name is a color, too.
Alphard is not a very nice uncle, is he? He's only nice to the ones he likes, and those he can count in one hand.
*coldly* Why do you keep calling me Mr Brown? And blathering on about unicorns? I assure you that I don't care for unicorns in the slightest.
*snaps* Although I'm sure that any unicorn with even an ounce of sense would be proud to be on a tapestry, and would fully give their consent to being restored if they had been accidentally removed.
I don't think Regulus is a particularly nice nephew! Well, not to Alphard anyway. :)
Drat! Somehow I missed this until now! Anyway, I just wanted to mention that I thought this was a fantastic letter and a brilliant way to work the Black Family Tapestry into a CQ storyline! Very clever!

*yelps, taken by surprise*
*stands there awkwardly, not really knowing what to do*
*almost softly*
Why would I do something like that?
*briskly*
Stop talking nonsense. I would never change my name.

No, some unicorns have much more sense than that!
Great - they're on the same wavelength

Some unicorns have no sense whatsoever!
