A/N: Okay! Hi guys! This is my 1st ever multi-chaptered fic in here and about JUMP. I don't own JUMP members. This is un-beta'd, because I can't find anyone who'll be willing to do so and I'm a narcissist! I'm sorry for the randomness and stupidity, w/c includes spelling, grammar and other errors! & another thing, I sucked at describing things. Haha! Gomen again! ♥

Chapter 1:
The Missing Cat

-x-x-x-

She felt the wonderful spring breeze as she wiped the forming sweat on her forehead with the back of her right hand. She found herself armed with her usual apron and surrounded by cats meowing and scratching the ends of her pants.

"Yeah, yeah! I'll feed you! Just wait for a minute okay!!" She told them as if they actually understood her and proceeded to what she was working; dividing 6 cans of cat foods to 4 equal shares and put it on four pet containers with 3 bowls each.

She hummed a certain tune of a song entitled Bouken Rider, if her thoughts were correct. She's not aware of the lyrics since she only heard it playing from her friend's iPod while they were going home together and she found it nice. She always had that sickness, the last song syndrome.

As she set the containers almost a meter away from each other, the cats started to throng around it. She took a deep breath, "Finally, morning works are done!" She muttered in relief as she arched her arms to her side.

She took off the apron and hanged it on a nearby hanger stuck to the wall and looked at the wall clock, 10:30 AM. She smiled because she finished all her work for that morning ahead of the time she allotted, which was 11 o’clock.

She started humming the song again and sat near the cats which were devouring their food when something alarmed her. She counted the cats to make sure she wasn't overlooking something, "9...10...11..... 11??! Who's gone?!" She blurted out. She counted again and still, she had the same figure...

In a flash, she found herself standing on their rooftop like a sharp shooter who was ready to kill the spying enemy around the premises. She's glad her parents had decided to add up a rooftop on their actual plan for their house because it's useful not just for sky-watching but also for these kinds of situation, searching for one of her cats.

She scanned the surrounding again and again before cursing, "Crap! Where on earth did Maya go?! I'll really kill him if I saw him!! ARGH!! I'm sure Onee-chan will chew me off if she found out about this..."

"If I'm Maya, where will I go?" She uttered as she tried to put her feet on her cat's shoes. "Nahh?! How the heck will I know? I've never been a cat!!!" She screamed when something caught her vision, a ball of black and white fur resting on top of a canopy of a neighbor.

Being one with the worst eyesight, she needed to squint and concentrated for long on the thing that caught her vision. "Found yeah!" She whispered, "I'll kill you Maya!" Her eyes were filled with rage.

The house where she saw Maya was approximately a block away. She scanned the area as she roamed around until she found herself standing in front of a house surrounded by a fence a bit taller than her and a black gate.

"How rich~" She commented as she looked at the part of the house that overlapped the fence's view. "Maybe when I get a job I'll build my house just like this one..." She uttered and chuckled on her own silliness. The house's exterior was intricately designed and it seemed to show off how rich the owner was.

Before she disturbed anyone from the house for her silly cat, she made sure that Maya was actually there. She looked at the canopies on top of the windows and found him. He seemed to be asleep. She approached him and started calling out his name, "Maya! Psstt, Maya!! Come down kitty... Come, come! I've prepared your food already." She chanted but Maya only gave her a cold glance.

Her patience ran out as her eyebrows twitched, "MAYA!! Come down here you silly cat! I swear I'll never let you inside the house again if you won't follow me now!!!" She shouted.

And as if her cat actually understood her, Maya stood up and stretched his paws. When he looked at how high he was from the ground, he shivered.

She sighed. "Crap... Now what?! Stranded?!"

Maya attempted to go down again but he couldn't. The canopy he was staying on was situated very high that he was skeptic if he would arrive on the ground alive. He looked at her before blurting, "Meow..."

She rolled her eyes and crossed her arms. "So that means you need my help... Nahh! I should have really given you to the neighbors when they asked you. You're more than a nuisance..." She uttered as she thought what she should do.

She walked to the front of the black gate and took a deep breath. "Yosh!" She exclaimed before pressing the doorbell twice.

No one opened the gate.

She raised an eyebrow. 'No one's home?' She thought.

But she could hear someone hitting something inside the house, seemed like playing the drums. She decided to press the doorbell again and was glad when the drumming sound died down. She smiled. Finally, they noticed that someone was outside of their house waiting to get a cat on their canopy.

She waited for a while until she heard the clanking sound of something behind the gate. She prepared herself to be respectful to anyone who would be there. She was not friendly to neighbors so she was sure they didn't know her.

At long last, the black gate opened and revealed a tall and black-haired guy wearing a white shirt with a purple bear printed on it and brown pants.

"Uhhh..." Seeing a guy who looked like an anime character around their neighborhood was surprising for her. 'Wow, he looks so adorable and glittering! He's very tall, his face is so handsome, and... and....'

Her thoughts were cut when he spoke, "Ahh, what can I do for you?" He asked.

'YABAI!!' Her thoughts shouted as a weird tingling feeling hit her spine just for hearing his voice. "Ha??!"

He looked at her with confusions. "Are you alright, miss?"

"Meow... meow..." Maya exclaimed. It seemed like he noticed his owner was having a mental block out.

Both of them turned to Maya's direction and that snapped her back to reality. "Yeah! My cat...“ She said, pointing to Maya.

"Ha?!" The guy blurted out, "How did your cat get up there?" His eyes widened.

"I don't know either but when I was feeding my cats, I noticed he was missing. I searched and found him on the top of your canopy so can I ask a favor if I can get my cat from your property?" She stated, almost without any pauses.

He smiled weakly, "Sure! Please do. We have dogs around and it may cause a pandemonium if they see your cat."

"Really!" Her eyes softened like she was about to cry. "Thank you very much!!!" She thanked while bowing.

The guy let her inside their premises. When she was analyzing what to do to get Maya down, he volunteered to get him for her.

"Thank you very much!!" She bowed again.

He got embarrassed with her constant thanking, "That's fine! We're neighbors so it's normal to help one another!" He said before going somewhere to get a ladder.

The guy came back with a ladder and started climbing up to get Maya. Luckily, the cat cooperated and didn't give him trouble while he was rescuing him. He was relieved how things moved smoothly until his feet touched the grounds again with the cat on his arms.

"There you go..." He uttered as he gave the cat to its owner.

She accepted her cat and hugged him around her arms. "Thank you very much again! I don't know how to repay you for this kindness!"

He smiled, "Welcome and don't let your cat wander off again. Good thing our dogs are inside the house so they didn't notice it."

She started talking to Maya, like chewing him off for his naughtiness. The guy smiled at them and she had a glanced on it that made her cheeks blush. "We need to go now. Thank you very much again..." She said and walked away with the cat on her arms.

The guy walked with them to the gate and locked it after they were already outside. 'How lucky that cat is to have that caring owner...' He thought.

"Yuto nii-chan!!!" He heard his little brother yelling from the window, "What happened? You're taking so long!"

He smiled, "There was a girl who took her cat from our canopy."

"I told you, there was a cat! I heard it meowing before you played your drums..." He grumbled, pouting.

He approached his brother and ruffled his hair, "Yeah! Gomen Raiya-chan, my bad!"

The younger boy smiled, "Just get inside. I baked cookies."

"Cookies?"

"We baked cookies for Home Economics yesterday and my classmates said mine were good so I made another batch of cookies for you, Mama and Papa to eat!" His brother explained before disappearing in front of him.

"Ehh? The last time I checked on him, he was gardening." He mused, "Was I terribly busy during middle school that I don't remember doing all those kind of activities?"

"Nii-chan!!!" Raiya called him out.

"Hai, hai! I'm coming!" He replied as he hurriedly made his way inside their house.

---

"Onee-chan should not know about this..." She whispered worriedly to herself as she sat on the sofa. "I know if she'll know, she'll tell Kaa-san and Tou-san to force me to get rid of these cats. Nahh!! That will signal my early death..."

She sighed and gave a deadly glare to the cat that made the rest of her day miserable, Maya. The cat saw her and shuddered before hiding behind the other cats. "Meow..."

"Argh! Maya!!!!" She yelled before shutting her eyes close.
