random corner: rant!~
Okay, today is..hmm... a historical day for my country, Philippines. The 15th President together with his Vice was just proclaimed a while ago. Nahhh.. Well, I hope he'll lead the country properly. Mrs. Arroyo's rough reign of 9 years will end on the 30th day of this month. I find it nostalgic though. She has been the President of the country since I was 8 years old and though most of the Filipinos hate her for being 'corrupt', I don't. I just couldn't put myself hating her because some of the people around me told me how great the country has been when she became the president, and the others just couldn't see it.
The new president came from a wealthy and well-known family anyway. His father was a hero and his mother became the 1st woman who won the presidential race in the country and freed Filipinos from dictatorship. I really hope he harnessed all the wonderful genes from his parents and lead the country for the betterment of the people.
Yeah, so much with politics... I should change the topic. I've just realized that it's my final year of being a minor. WHAT?! Yeah, reality check! I'm already 17.. (no worries, Yuto will turn 17 on August.. you'll be on the same age level again..). My 16th year passed by with a blink of an eye. I could still remember my high school adviser said on my birthday, 'You're turning 16, that's a wonderful age!' Yeah! Very wonderful >o<... And, another thing, I think I still don't deserve my age. I'm already 17 but I tripped twice on the same day! I was like, "What the heck is with you? Do things properly. You almost tripped over while climbing up on a flight of stairs and walking on a plain (ahh, yeah.. there's some small rocks on it) road while going to church!!!" My, oh my... how clumsy!
I'll rant more!
I think my mind blows up with simple, though trivial, questions. It's rather freaky!! There was a time when my classmate asked me, 'Why do you really like to go to Japan?' I got silent for some moment, opened my mouth and made a fool out of me when I answered, 'It's because I wanna go to Disneyland!' Crap! For the love of Japanese fandom, I screwed it! Good thing my classmate only replied, 'Then go to Hong Kong! It's much cheaper!' Well, I really wanna go to Disneyland in Tokyo, but that's not the main-est reason why I freakin' wanna go to Japan!!!
And another freaky question was when my best friend's cousin asked me, 'What is it that you really like about Yuto?' I got a mind black out again before I answered her, 'Because his childish?' She seemed to got dismayed and asked me to give more reason and I said, 'Because he's tall, cute, etc. etc...~'
I really think my mind goes chaotic when I'm asked about the things that I really like, or I'm so passionate about. It's really difficult for me to put what I think into words when I talk, that's why I like writing. It gives me time to process what I feel into words! ^_^
Hahaha! this has been long and I won't use LJ-cut.. to get some attention. Haha! How vain!~ Everyone looks busy since classes started already. Ours will start next week though.
