I squealed out loud when Roxanne actually got to hit Tighten. Then she got all beat up, but still wouldn't quit! I love that girl. And Megs saved her by making her run like everyone else. :'(

The banter.. dear god you write the best banter XD
It always sounds so perfect and in-character. I love that Megamind was too messed up at the end to come up with anything, so Mets took care of it. I also love how Metroman was kind of oblivious to just HOW beat up Megamind was, until he spits up blood. It just seemed so like him.

The action sequences were gorgeous. Fast, great details and visuals, and you used both amusing descriptions and some really meaningful, pointed ones that struck me. I love the "fire vs fire" thought, and the "pillow fight". I just love this.

I really hope the camera caught everything (though Megs probably hopes they edit out the puking ;) )

I'm so glad that you enjoyed so much about the fic! :D The car/pillow fight was a favorite image of mine--- so much chaotic fun can be had when supermen throw down!

It seems that the banter has become my trademark in this fandom! ^_^ Thanks especially for your note about Metz being oblivious to the injuries of his companion. I just don't think it would occur to him to worry about something like that, and I'm glad that you felt the same.

Haha, I honestly hadn't thought about the video camera, lying on its side somewhere, still rolling--- even if it didn't capture that much of the fight onscreen, it certainly got all of the audio! I can only imagine a blurry shot of broken cement, while in the background we can hear all this roaring and crashing and exploding! XDDD

I had a hard time finding an ending for this one, so I really appreciate you letting me know that you liked it. And I'm so PSYCHED that you mentioned that Mortal Kombat bit! I spent the preceding weekend watching my brothers marathon the game, and they dutifully called for me at every fatality, knowing my weakness for seeing men get their heads ripped off. XDDD
