Just adding this in here as I find it an interesting observation: Megamind is trying to keep this quiet as well. Unlike Metrobear, he has a lot to gain from broadcasting his "conquest" to everyone.... but he evidently values the relationship far more than he does the conquest. Which is proof enough to me that this could work. If they can work out their insecurities.

Thanks so much for your comments. I'm especially thrilled by the second one and your observation about Megamind--- YES, EXACTLY, this COULD work if they can just get over those insecurities. I really wanted to explore this relationship on a deeper level. I mean, I love writing porn as much as the next person, but I was much more interested in working out the emotional intricacies in a hero/villain pairing. Especially since Metro Man has an identity crisis in canon--- he's a very complex character, and I like how this relationship is drawing that anxiety out into the open
