so this was beautifully done. And my god,fucked by his own tail and then turning the tables on Ratigan. ...I don't know whether to scold basil for keeping up the charade that its all a game, or applaud him for winning said game so masterfully. I'm going to applaud, because he makes up for treating it like a game at the end, touching Padriac's face before speaking some whispered words of french to him.

And Ratigan,...it's usually Basil I want to console at the end of a chapter in their history. It was him this time. Ratigan...,he really does love his beloved foe doesn't he... He'll never say it out loud I imagine, at least not without him making it sound like some kind of jest. But he really does. I think as hot (and seriously I was fanning myself while I read this)as the sex was, the 'pillow talk' and what Basil said to him at the end was what really made this chapter amazing. and the bite when Ratigan,.. just Unf.

Again, this was an awesome read, thank you for sharing it.
