In mid-season finale, during the raid on Richmond's appartment, Peter locks Neal in this tiny room and then tells the reception clerks that Neal doesn't have any medical condition, so under no circumstances they are to let him out ( ... )

His fingers tingle and threaten to go numb, and something inside him twists and turns. It's a small miracle that his heart is even still pumping blood through this veins, that his lungs can supply it with oxygen. Maybe it's pure survival instinct, but this breathing evens out-just a little. Enough to feel the nausea full force.

A hand clutches his stomach. Don't puke, don't puke, don't puke, his mind reels. Because he knows that will only make it worse. "Help," he tries again, but it comes out barely as a whimper. "I can't, I just-" he gasps ( ... )

This was great. I like your description of his panic attack - I felt like I was experiencing it with him. Very well done.

OP here :D !!! It's a beautiful morning and there is so much love for this fic in me :P I totally agree with my fellow anon, the panic attack description is perfect, you can feel your very own panic attack just creeping up your spine. But the best part is Peter's initial reaction, he finds Neal in distress and he still doesn't believe him *sigh* Well-deserved guilt trip for Peter :D
