Last time I asked for a fic with Diana rescuing Neal on horseback. Since then, we've had canon horseback-hero!Peter, so I'll be happy with either. I just want someone swooping in to save Neal on a horse. Please!

In the past, Neal had known he could talk his way out of any situation. Most people, most criminals that is, had blinkers that ensured all they saw and wanted was that direct path to their goal; it made it easy for Neal to work on the side without arousing suspicion. And if anybody had ever thought to look at him twice with anything other than total confidence in the thief’s ability, then Neal could simply deflect, redirect, charm or plain lie until their attention shifted off him ( ... )

Neal blinked as the real world crashed in down on him again. Reality had his heart racing, and the world was uncomfortably large again. He was confused. The thugs were there, but then suddenly, the large men were being thrown aside like little more than ragdolls, with others backing away. Most wore killer expressions, the fear driving them to madness ( ... )

Before Peter caught Neal, El initiated some sexy Catwoman/Batman roleplaying to capitalize on Peter's obsession with catching a thief.

Either the actual role-playing, or Neal finding out about it and wanting in on the fun.

Sometimes, after Peter had come in to work in an especially horrific piece of clothing, Neal would somehow invite himself to dinner at the Burkes, or he’d plant the idea and Peter would tell him he had no choice but to come or risk a return to prison. Either way, Neal would use the opportunity to steal a moment away from the Burkes to raid Peter’s wardrobe ( ... )

Neal, smiling shakily, dropped the small sheet of paper back into the box and rose to his feet, the catwoman outfit hooked in the crook of his left elbow. It had to be a coincidence. But the potential metaphors were not lost on him. Batman, the keeper of peace, the fighter of crime, chasing Catwoman… someone Batman found himself enchanted by, maybe even ensnared? How had that ended again? Neal was hardly well versed in the DC universe. He’d studied a few aspects once for a con involving a certain red cape, and Moz sometimes mentioned lunchboxes, but he wasn’t all that familiar with the DCU characters ( ... )

“Oh,” Peter managed to mutter bitterly. Peter tried not to let the desperation into his tone, but he just knew that Neal had thought of thousand and one ways to use this against them. “So, you’re thinking you’ve got an unlimited pass to any museum you want to see outside your radius, huh ( ... )

Towards the end of his probation, Neal realises he has feelings for El. Confused as to what his feelings are he doesnt know what to do. He doesnt know whether he loves her and is scared to ponder over it. He totally loves spending time with her and looks forward to meeting her. He respects her and Peter and their sacred relationship that he is scared to dig deeper into his feelings. He also owes his second chance at starting his life afresh to Peter and considers him his best friend, guide and big brother and does not want to be the thorn in his blissful life.

What will he do when the probation is up-will he stay or disappear. If he stays, will he tell El or/and Peter about it or will he keep it to himself. What he finally does depends on what the writer is inclined to choose on behalf of Neal.

First prompt is first! Yay me.

I love this meme! But I rarely see fics where Peter is on the receiving end, if you know what I mean :) Would love to see how Neal and Peter handle Peter's first time.
