Before Peter caught Neal, El initiated some sexy Catwoman/Batman roleplaying to capitalize on Peter's obsession with catching a thief.

Either the actual role-playing, or Neal finding out about it and wanting in on the fun.

Sometimes, after Peter had come in to work in an especially horrific piece of clothing, Neal would somehow invite himself to dinner at the Burkes, or he’d plant the idea and Peter would tell him he had no choice but to come or risk a return to prison. Either way, Neal would use the opportunity to steal a moment away from the Burkes to raid Peter’s wardrobe

Neal, smiling shakily, dropped the small sheet of paper back into the box and rose to his feet, the catwoman outfit hooked in the crook of his left elbow. It had to be a coincidence. But the potential metaphors were not lost on him. Batman, the keeper of peace, the fighter of crime, chasing Catwoman… someone Batman found himself enchanted by, maybe even ensnared? How had that ended again? Neal was hardly well versed in the DC universe. He’d studied a few aspects once for a con involving a certain red cape, and Moz sometimes mentioned lunchboxes, but he wasn’t all that familiar with the DCU characters

I can't even. Just... Hee!
I love that Neal is in Peter's closet, shamelessly replacing his wardrobe.
I love that he really doesn't have to argue with himself at all to decide that he needs to be in on the games. But I especially love that he gets halfway down the stairs and suddenly wants to take a sniff.
LOL! Priceless.

Y'know, I was just thinking that so many of these prompts aren't getting filled, and look at this! Someone or a group of someones is just knocking so many of these out of the park!

I agree, I had noticed a sadly lopsided ratio of Prompts to fills. Was feeling inspired for the Christmas season to fulfill some prompts. With a long weekend coming up, I hope to do many more!

This is SO freaking perfect :) I love Neal's reaction when he finds the costumes and realizes when Peter and El bought them... and I love Petr beig first embarrassed and then delighted when Neal finds out.

Aw, thank you so much, I'm delighted you liked this. I'm not at the stage yet where I can write Ot3, so this little fic was something I quite liked using as a teether(practice). Ta for leaving sweet feedback.
