I've now been a resident of the North (or technically, M-town is located in the middle) for almost seven weeks. I only realized this morning, on my way to school, how much I've missed O-town and how beautiful my birthplace is. I've been given the day off, due to my foot swelling up after I was bit by some bug two days ago. All the cardinal signs of an inflammation are present: calor (heat), dolor (pain), rubor (redness), tumor (swelling) and functio laesa (loss of function). Ah, the medicine professors would've been proud to know that I still remember this.

My dad gave me a pulse watch (Polar RS300X, if it's of any interest) for Christmas two years ago and I've been using it with eager when engaging in cardio exercises ever since.
