There is now a book rec post where you can put forward suggestions for the coming year's reading. (In the interests ( Read more... )

Do you remember the really old post you did giving us free reign of your characters? I wrote a short snippet that was D/J in a historical context and I totally forgot to post it. Do you mind if I still post it (I can find the entry) or would you still like it? I don't want to use your character without permission!

And as I was re-reading it (found it due to winter computer file cleaning!), I realized D/J remind me a lot of Bradley James and Colin Morgan from Merlin. Hm...

I don't remember, but I don't doubt it exists. :D In other words as long as you do the usual credit (and provide me with a link so I cam shamelessly squee over it) you are absolutely more than welcome to post it.

Huh, I hadn't thought of that. To be honest I've not really watched any of the 'making of' Merlin programmes so I couldn't compare the two. Now I'm kind of tempted to! XD

Oh I wouldn't post it anywhere else but in a comment somewhere on your journal. It's not too long. I'll look for the exact post sometime this weekend and post away.

Please watch these (in no specific order):

They have a nice "bromance" going on in a lot of interviews too! I don't really ship real people and I don't think they have a romantic relationship quite like D/J but I think the friendship dynamic is definitely a bit similar. One is definitely the pretty boy and the "nice" one.

You do realise I am shamelessly excited for this now, don't you? ;D

Ok, that first link completely cracked me up. I've never seen that! I assume it must have been from a BBC 3 programme (I think I can see the little pink 3 logo in the corner) and yet I never managed to catch it. (And I'm now going to spend the morning frantically hunting everything down, aren't I?)

LOL. I have my deep suspicions that Daniel is not really the 'nice' one. (My theory is that secretly he gets paid to make sure James doesn't do anything stupid.)
