This post is open to allow people to suggest books they think others would like to read in the coming year. The rules are as follows:
You have until December 12th to put forward any books for the vote. After 12:00pm (GMT) any further books will not be considered unless we do not have enough for the full year.
Please link to a brief summary of the book. (You are not required to have read the book yourself; it can simply be something that grabbed your attention.)
The nature of the book must be of Classical/Ancient history content. This does not mean it can't, for example, be a reimagining of the life of Alexander the Great in space, it just means there has to be some discussion/interpretation of ancient history/literature within the book.
The book can be any genre, both fact and fiction.
We need twelve books. When suggestions close, if we have more than twelve, there will be a vote to establish which books most interest people.
Once the book have been chosen a list will be put up with the month the club intends to readh each one. People will then be encouraged to volunteer to write the community review for a book of their choice. (Participation is completely optional.)
