East German Olympic gymnast might get postponed till next year. My roommate and I are talking about going as a 1950s couple with make up and wardrobe to make ourselves look black and white. It sounds like something that could either be really cool or just go horribly wrong.

I think my Halloween costume this year will be East German Olympic gymnast. There will be satin ribbon, and unitard.

I read today that East Germany was one of the nations that boycotted the 1984 Olympics, so I could be the German gymnast that never had my time to shine.

I'm now settled into my Austin apartment, and I have internet. I'm liking it. The cats have adjusted well and seem to actually get along better than in the old apartment.

I'll take pictures once we have everything set up. There's still a few loose ends, decoratively speaking.

We finished painting the new apartment today. I'd recommend that Behr primer-and-paint-in-one they sell at Home Depot. We did "Lucky Bamboo" in the living room with "Pyramid Yellow" accent walls in the dining area and entryway. Had a job interview on Wednesday in Austin. Don't know the results yet.

Regardless, I signed a lease in Austin today. I've got no reason to stay in San Marcos now that I'm not working in San Antonio.

And that's what's going on with me.
