Let's see... since my last post I got a bike. I ride it around town a lot. It's green. No, I mean it's literally green. And beautiful. I named it Giovanni.
A couple weeks ago, I got a design job at a t-shirt printing place. It's not really highbrow stuff (mostly college sports shirts made from templates) Also, it's an ugly warehouse surrounded by more ugly warehouses. I work in a room with no windows. But it's low-stress and pays well. And I'm starting to get more actual design work, so yay. And I have weekends off for the first time in eight months. That deserves a woot.
I work 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. I like it much more than I thought I would. It's nice to be done with a full day of work and realize you have an entire afternoon ahead of you, not to mention I'm out of sync with rush hour traffic.
Actually, this job is a huge relief. I feel like I can finally run around and enjoy myself without feeling guilty. I have less free time, but I use it more effectively. And I can pay my bills!
I want to get an agent for freelance illustration. I have about a bajillion bookmarked. I keep finding reasons to procrastinate it. They're all very productive reasons (after I finish this, after I finish that) but it's procrastination nonetheless.
I have a big boy
blog now.
I'm not promising that I'm back in the swing of this livejournal thing, but hi for now.
