P.U. and other angsty mutterings

I will offer a brief apology to those of you, my friends, who keep an eye on this thing: apologies for the general tone of negativity it often takes. I tend to use this site as an outlet for my worries and concerns, to try and let the little things go here. Although being a gnome, I am not generally good at letting things go. Sucks about the job situation ... and the skunk. Every so often, one of our cats or another comes in the house and its abundantly clear that they've gotten just a little bit too close to an angry skunk. Or a dead one. Not that they've been sprayed or anything, but there's a very slight, very lingering smell. And it's not pleasant.

On another note, thanks for the great compliment. It's never clear to me whether the glut of pictures that I post on my LJ is appreciated or whether it's just a bandwidth-eating annoyance. If it were somebody else posting those pictures and they were ending up on my friends page, I might be inclined to fall into the annoyance camp.

Sorry for the a-bit-belated response...you don't need to thank me for the compliment! I really enjoy looking at your photos. Being a poor photographer myself, I always really like looking at the work of people who are good at it. Which you are! Thanks for putting them up :)

Reminds me of the phantom stench of decay that hovered about the forequarters of my house for weeks several months back. How unpleasant!

I confess, neither skunks nor iguanas, cute as they are, are on my list for animals I'm keen to deal with on a petly basis. Ill-tempered beasts.

And thanks muchly for the plug!

*hugs*

I hope you hear back on the job applications soon! What a scary place to be in.

Knowing the vagaries of fate, you'll hear back from everyone within three days, just after you've managed to lose your tenuous hold on sanity quite completely. That's the position we've been put in this past month. Urk.

*hugs again*

Apologies for the belated reply...hugs to you and good luck on all your job-related stuff too! I apparently don't have much job karma, but what I do have is going yours and Sargon's way as well. :)
