Avengers was great.

I'm divided on how much I ship Bruce/Tony because I also ship Tony/Pepper and Tony/Steve (but more in the comics and less in the movie) and I love them as Science Bros. But I've come to realize I'll read any fanfic with those two in it and interacting either as a couple or bros. I really loved their interactions in the movie.

And I think Captain America came off as meh because originally Joss said that he was supposed to be the audience view-point character but I guess all those scenes were edited out of the finished movie. I kind of hope when Avengers comes out on DVD it'll have deleted scenes with more Cap in them.

As for Firefly, I've never really thought about Jayne/Wash or Jayne/Kaylee; though the latter is because I'm a big Simon/Kaylee shipper. But they do both sound interesting.

Also, you read The Less Than Epic Adventures of TJ and Amal too?! I've never talked to another fan of it before XD.

I absolutely love everything about Epic - the characters, the art, the plot, the pacing, the humour, the copious use of music references - and you are the first person I've met who reads it too! It recently eclipsed Questionable Content as my favorite webcomic, mainly because of the TJ's realization arc which just made my heart explode in glee

Oh crap I am so sorry that I spoiled you then on that aspect of the Beka Cooper series (which is what I usually call them). I have a feeling their official name is the Provost's Dog series or something like that? I won't spoil any more except that they're my second favorite Tortal series after The Immortals Quartet and definitely worth reading. Aly/Nawat is my third favorite Tortal pairing and I do love them it just happened that there are so many great pairings in those series. I love Alana/George too though. I could probably have made a list of favourite pairings just from the Tortalverse. Either Kel/Dom or Nealan/whoever he ended up with would be fifth

Yeah that makes the most sense I think - Zoe not being a part of Serenity in the first place. Feels less forced than to have her around and just pretend they for some reason never ended up together. (Or doing what most of the ones I read did - love triangle. No thanks.) Maybe the easiest way to do that would be have none of Mal's squad survive Serenity Valley with him so he's alone until he buys Serenity and finds a crew. That would make for a way sadder and angstyer Mal but I think it'd be easier than introducing a new character. I think you could easily put Jayne identifying as straight down to denial due to religion. Then you could totally have Book help Jayne come to terms with his desires.

This is all definitely sounding more and more plausible the more we discuss it :) Let me know if you don't want to write this because if you don't I'll give it a go. Though I'm really excited to see what you can do with it.

Well I was inspired by your drabbles to start scribbling myself, so I"ve put up a little bit on my journal. I wanted to do Jayne's pov but it seems I can't quite get into that yet so I've started with a little Wash drabble. I've never really been good at Wash so I took some inspiration from the way your drabbles portrayed him and I've already got a comment saying my Wash is in character so thankyou :p
