Fangirly goodness

I've done a lot of internal tv/movie related squeeing lately which I felt the need to post suddenly.

-OMG ADAM BALDWIN WAS ON CASTLE!!! He was a tough rebellious cop type and Castle (Nathan Fillion for non-castle-fans) tagged along with him for one episode and it was absolutely brilliant to see Jayne order a slightly nervous, in awe, eager to impress Mal around :D :D He was all fanboy-y about Adam's character it was so fun to watch.
A little clip of them
And another

-Offspring is glorious and infuriating and I love it anyway! It's so great that even plot points which have me yelling in anger at the stupidity of them when they are first introduced win me over by the end of the episode.
[Offspring season 3 & 4 spoilers]
(Mainly the whole Nina and Patrick's breakup is permanent so there and now she might possibly pregnant to him and can't Billie have a break and some happiness now please) have me completely won over by the end of the episode because of the realistic awesome way they tackle them. Like Nina and Patrick are my third favorite couple in tv (After Wash & Zoe and Lily & Marshal) and the show has me accepting their breakup!

Anyway it is my favorite currently airing show and I love Asher Keddie and Deborah Mailman and the guys who play Patrick, Clegg and Darcy. And everyone else. I just love the whole series. <3 <3 <3
Quick promo of season 3 to introduce it for those unaware of its awesomeness (it's a medical drama - but don't hold that against it - centering on the themes of family and relationships and children).

Castle and Beckett sitting in a tree...
YAY! It finally happened!
See?!?!

I finally watched the Avengers and my feelings follow:
-Banner and Stark sitting in a tree...
-They ruined all the most funny bits by putting them all in the promos so that I'd already seen them a few times.
-But it was still awesome and hilarious and squee-worthy.
-Don't really get everyone's feels about Loki though. I mean each to their own, but I don't feel it (attraction). I did feel sympathy for him and I liked the way he was portrayed though.
-All of the leads gave me squiggly feelings in one way or another which was unusual. There's usually at least one I'm meh over. Well... Cap'n America was pretty meh but not completely unattractive.
-Hawkeye was the cutest though.
-Except for Natasha obviously. Scarlet is stunning.
-Robin!! I recognized her from her voice. Ant was all "What's she doing there?" and I was "Six degrees of separation" (HIMYM / NPH / Dr Horrible / Joss / Avengers) but I kid it's probably just because she's awesome (which she is).

ETA2:
Okay, I feel the need to monologue a little on Wash/Jayne. Until recently my most vehement rule about Firefly shipping (aside from no incest) was nothing that breaks up or interferes with Zoe/Wash. But really recently the idea of Wash/Jayne popped into my head. Probably for two reasons:
1) I have a soundbite of Firefly which includes the following dialogue as my alarm to wake up every morning:
Jayne: Does anyone remember [river] coming at me with a butcher's knife?
Wash: Wacky fun...
Jayne: You wanna go little man?
Wash: Only if it's some place with candlelight
2) I've been itching to pair Jayne in a slash relationship recently for some reason. And I'm just not feeling Mal/Jayne and I don't like Simon enough individually to be interested in Jayne/Simon although I concede it makes the most sense out of the few slash options for Jayne.
So.. .yeah. The more I think about it the more intrigued I am by it. I'm just really curious as to how that might work between them. And I don't mean how would Wash end up not with Zoe and then with Jayne. I mean I'm really interested in what kind of dynamic they would have in a physical and/or romantic relationship. Maybe it would be a disaster, I dunno. I'll have to think on it some more.
Although, I think I should make clear that this is only in an absolutely absurd fan fiction what if kind of way and not something I'm going to start actively shipping. Wash/Zoe and Jayne/Kaylee will forever remain my one true pairings for those characters. I think... :P

rambling, fandom/cannon, shipping, excited, squee
