I haven't updated in ages, but I figured I'd say hello, we're still alive.  We aren't exactly loving Maine yet, but we're working on it.  It has rained 5 inches in the last three weeks.

Holy crap.

TWC says that temperatures in my town will reach 33 today.  This is going to be heaven!

I was totally prepared for it to get very cold when we moved to Maine.  I didn't quite understand what it would feel like when it was -25.  Now I know it makes your eyeballs hurt because they want to freeze, your nose prickle because any snot in there ( Read more... )

We'll be off to Maine soon and the computers are going in the boxes.  Everyone have a wonderful holidays... wish us luck with the snow and the freezing and all that!

Not working is strange.  Nice, in that I am sleeping just about as much as my body wants me to sleep, which is a new and delightful sensation.  But I am not particularly enjoying getting us ready for the move.  We've been in this house for eight years now, and the amount of junk we've compiled is ridiculous.  I look at the piles and I want to cry ( Read more... )
