Movie: "Milk"

I just got back from seeing Milk-it was like being thrown into the washing machine: I emerged wet, dizzy & wrung out, but somehow feeling cleansed.  It was a very well-made film, with an Oscar-worthy performance by Sean Penn.  I cried during the opening credits, which contain historical photos.  Photos gay citizens being beaten by police officers;
