Unusual movie recommendation: Ink

This is an unusual movie recommendation in that, up front, I will admit that the film has poor to mediocre acting and a lack-luster script which is at times actively bad. I really liked it anyway. ( Read more... )

I just got back from seeing Milk-it was like being thrown into the washing machine: I emerged wet, dizzy & wrung out, but somehow feeling cleansed.  It was a very well-made film, with an Oscar-worthy performance by Sean Penn.  I cried during the opening credits, which contain historical photos.  Photos gay citizens being beaten by police officers; ( Read more... )
