I've listened too and enjoyed perhaps a dozen or so episodes of this series. The setting is pretty exotic, but by the writers focusing on Jordan and his cafe on a regular basis they don't get too bogged down in over-fetishizing the outre and the strange every episode.
Someone ought to do an Pulp RPG mini setting, detailing the cafe, the local streets including notable sights (such as the Mosque Sultan Hassan, the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities, the Khan el-Khalili, the local police station, etc.) and a larger map contemporary sketch map of Cairo, and include a dozen or so adventure ideas and possible NPCs.
