I went into this with extremely low expectations. I wasn't terribly disappointed. However, there were a few bright spots in this film that actually surprised me.

I had not picked up Chandu the Magician before, as I thought (incorrectly) that it was too much of a juvenile series for me to be interested in. I had listened to other juvenile series in the past, and wasn't inclined to pick another up right away.
