Looks like the
last episode is out on raws now! Subs will be out tomorrow (hopefully) and then we can put a close on this anime series. It was a great show until it deviated from the manga, but at least we still have plenty of Norihiro Yagi to go around, especially when the manga resumes publication on November 2nd

This ending... there are no words.
I'm sure a whole lot will come to mind later, but for now... I am speechless.

Isn't there another extra chapter for October?

I would watch the raws myself but torrents take forever to download for me unless I get lucky. Since I'd get the raws just about the same time as the subs, I'm usually better off just waiting.
I'm actually kind of anxious to see how this ends. While I love the manga, I'm sincerely wishing that they'll give the series closure in an acceptable fashion. I really want to purchase this series if it gets licensed, but I'd also like to know that the full series is worth collecting ^^

And that summary leaves me...wanting. Manga spoilers-->I mean, if they were looking to continue the series with a second season, it'd be difficult to do that (based on the summary) because Clare is separated from Miria, Helen, and Deneve. If they all split up to return to the organization, what then? Sure, they could somehow force Clare and Raki to separate which would let her continue her search for him as happens in the manga, but she'd pretty much be on her own.
*ponders*I did find it interesting that the summary mentioned that Galatea sensed Isley but that she couldn't sense the other Claymores. Now I'm really curious to see how they'd continue this since they seem to have left the story wide open for more. My personal opinion, if they weren't going to end the series fully, they should have just left it as in the manga ( ... )

I know that the manga continues on further than this. Don't give me details, but how badly does it deviate from the manga?

I should have known that. I could have reworded that to keep episodes 22 and 23 spoilers down.

Sorry! But I think both you and Lena will enjoy them. As I've said, they aren't bad episodes, but from the manga's point of view, there were some awesome scenes that got fudged to allow the arc to move in a different direction.
*shrug*
You'll have to let me know what you think of the full series once you're done! I'm sure Lena will as well ;p
