This might be the thing to coax the muse Claire out of hiding again, now that my school year is coming to an end...
1) Give me a pairing or a couple of characters
2) Give me an (AU) setting.
3) I will write you a three-sentence fic.
So yeah, pretty much just LOTR, The Hobbit, and Faculty, Sentinel as far as fandoms.
I can't guarantee the fic will be

The sweet flute melody led Bilbo into the woods. His mama would wonder where he was if he was not home in time for supper, but he had to know. Elves? Fairies? His heart lifted with yearning and visions of treasure-filled caves, carved Elven halls, and lands far away assailed him.
He broke into a clearing in the woods and found a jolly-looking dwarf with a silly hat upon his head, cheeks rosy from merriment, playing a flute. He stopped when he saw the hobbit, and for a long time, they both stared at one another.
Finally the dwarf laughed, "Come, young halfling, and join me for a bite of sup. Tomorrow I must continue onward toward the Blue Hills, but today, I am enjoying the peace of your land."
Bilbo grinned. He forgot all about his mama and supper, and adventure clutched his heart.

"Holy shit," Zeke said, puffing on a cigarette one last time before throwing it out his window. Casey? Working the cheerleader carwash?
"That's littering," Casey said.
Here Zeke had come to get his car washed by the pretty chicks and to give Delilah some shit, and he couldn't take his eyes off that nerd in the short cut-offs approaching him now with a hose -- and those eyes that rendered him helpless every time.

"Good morning, Ringbearer," the Elf said.
Frodo smiled. "What--" he started. "Who are you?"
"I am Elladan," the Elf said, bowing. "The lord Elrond and company arrived last night. I wanted to look upon your face and to touch your hand, to honor you who saved Middle-earth."
Frodo blushed until his cheeks burned. "Oh, but I do not want special honor at all. I just want--"
"To go home. I know," Elladan said. "And you shall. But tomorrow you will see why Aragorn made you wait for so long."
Frodo smiled, and Elladan took his hand.
"Like glass," he said under his breath. "But still so much light."

Orlando admits that he was using Elijah because of Elijah's fame (despite Orlando's own fame) and he's leaving him for his true love--Miranda. (What is UP with me and Mr and Mrs Bloom lately??)

"I'm sorry, babe," Orlando said. squeezing Elijah to him. "I never meant to hurt you, really."
"But why?" Elijah pulled away. He was dizzy. Too many rum and cokes on the beach earlier. "I don't understand, just last night you were talking about trips to Italy, to Japan. We got the honeymoon suite here. I thought--" He stopped himself before he said what he really thought, which was that Orlando was going to propose to him. Fucking propose.
"I'm really sorry," Orlando said with pity in his eyes. Pity. Actual fucking pity. "But Miranda called today and wants to get together for real this time. I've loved her forever, but I've never been visible enough to get her attention. When I started going out with you, suddenly she noticed."
"You used me to get Miranda?" Elijah felt like he was going to throw up. Everything was wrong. He sat down. The room spun.
"I'm sorry," Orlando said again. "I'll be out of here in an hour."
