Today was a Big Day
I just finished my last class ever.
Like ever in my life for school. It hasn't hit me yet. Probably b/c I still have so much work to do. But class is done for me, until I have a job and mon-ay and can do fun things like take yoga classes and pottery classes and stuff.

a pat on the back
This morning we had to present our practicum projects, as if to our clients, for our instructors and class (for a grade). After our instructor hating pretty much everything we'd done up to this point for this project, she totally loved our presentation. It feels so good to FINALLY have gotten something right.

I'm having such career dilemmas it seriously makes me want to hurl every time i think about it.
I can't help but feel like I've already failed to become what I wanted to be, and do what I wanted to do.
More later, i don't have the energy to type now and I should really be doing more ethanol research. -

So the alternative I was to analyze for our practicum is totally fucked - I finally got hold of my LADOT bus contact this week only to learn that the city is phasing out its diesel buses and SCAQMD has prohibited the purchase of new diesel buses for public fleets (I had NO IDEA that AQMD could dictate what kind of vehicles the city could purchase ( Read more... ) -

Paper got done. Right on time. It wasn't complete crap, just maybe 80%.
I have a job interview tomorrow, so I'm preparing for battle right now. I'm pumped. I'm no entirely sure that it's what I want to do, but it could be really interesting. Keep your fingers crossed. -

do you ever get the feeling that you're writing something that doesn't really make sense? like, not just one or two sentences, but the entire premise. i'm still not entirely sure what the point of my paper is, and i'm halfway done. i kind of get the feeling i'm not really saying anything though. hrmm. -
i'll probably fail out of school.
I have a 16-ish page paper due at 6pm today. I haven't started writing yet, and I haven't even really finished researching. I'm going to examine shoreline erosion policies of two or three local coastal plans in Santa Barbara County, but I don't really even know what i'm going to say about them at this point.
