So the alternative I was to analyze for our practicum is totally fucked - I finally got hold of my LADOT bus contact this week only to learn that the city is phasing out its diesel buses and SCAQMD has prohibited the purchase of new diesel buses for public fleets (I had NO IDEA that AQMD could dictate what kind of vehicles the city could purchase!). Which kind of makes setting up a biodiesel pilot project a no-go. I contacted our client contact and she still wants me to look into alternative bus programs. So now I'm scrambling to get info before our big draft deadline on Sunday. I spent like the whole week on the horn trying to talk to people from various agencies, companies, etc. Ugh this has been painful. I'm so fucking sick of biofuels. I've seriously done like three MAJOR biofuels projects this semester, and I'm totally over it. I'm going to be spending pretty much all day today and tomorrow w/ Dick and Megan putting this mofo together. And our prof is still going to hate it, because she hates us and anything we do.

Less than one month until I graduate.

I still have 0 jobs after graduation. Fortunately, I didn't screw up the interview I had on Wednesday as badly as I thought I did, b/c I got invited back for a second one. If I successfully complete Level 2, I get to move on to Level 3 where I must defeat Bowser and rescue the Princess.

The best part about this week was lots of sox games on the teevee. Didn't get to see the opener, but I did get to see the Matsuzaka debut (yikes) AND now they're in a series with the Angels so I get to watch games this weekend. Yesterday was excellent. Baseball-wise, that is. I could have done without the rest of it.
