If you move merely to the vicinity of Tunbridge Wells, you could live in the village of Brenchley and I would come to visit you there.

I find it depressing that to Jan Moir's thinking, any woman who marries a politician who happens to become leader of their party is honour-bound to be at the beck and call of that husband for every photo opportunity and baby kissing event.

She's a throwback to another age and how I wish that someone would actually throw her back into it.

Also depressing was HIGNFY last week when they were making jokes about Nick Clegg effectively being "whipped" by his wife in that their children have Spanish names. God forbid that it should be a joint decision.

Miriam Gonzalez-Durantez's refusal to be a simpering wifelet was refreshing and that's what's driving the press corps nuts.

Yeah, I saw that too, and thought it was unworthy of a usually excellent show.
